USC basketball held its tip off event Sunday afternoon in the Galen Center. The twenty minute men's scrimmage provided a chance for Trojan fans to see the new look product first year head coach Andy Enfield and his staff is building.

Assistant coach Jason Hart spoke with SCPlaybook following the event, commending Enfield's system and the players for buying into it.

"We're in the beginning stages of building the program," Hart said, "but we're working hard and we're coming together."

Hart, who was an assistant at Pepperdine in 2012, says he feels the pressure to put a solid product on the floor in year one as the Trojans try to compete in the Pac-12.

"There's a sense of urgency," he explained.

USC's season tips off Nov. 8 at Utah State. Their first home game is Nov. 12 hosting Cal State Northridge.
