Jacobs on his style of play

USC freshman guard Julian Jacobs discusses his style of play on the hardwood.

Although the USC men's basketball debut at the Trojan Tip-Off looked more like an NBA All-Star game than a scrimmage, freshman guard Julian Jacobs proved that he can be an asset both on the offensive and defensive sides of the ball.

Jacobs describes his play as "athletic and unselfish," crediting it all to hard work on the court.

As a young gun, Jacobs says he looks up to players like Pe'Shon Howard, J.T. Terrell and Byron Wesley for guidance on and off the court.

Before season kicks off, Jacobs says he wants to be in good shape. However with all the extra running head coach Andy Enfield is making the team do, that shouldn't be an issue.
