Steve Sarkisian will be named the head coach at USC.

ESPN's Joe Schad first reported the story. SCPlaybook has confirmed it with sources.

Sarkisian led the Washington football team to an 8-4 season, 5-4 in the Pac-12.

He was previously an assistant coach at USC for seven seasons, from 2001-2003 and then again in 2005-2008.

He has been the Washington head coach since 2009.

Sarkisian has a 34-29 record at Washington. He took the Huskies to the Holiday Bowl, Alamo Bowl, and Las Vegas Bowl.
