Sarkisian filling in defensive staff...

Just four days after being hired as USC's head coach, Steve Sarkisian is starting to fill out his staff... first reported and SCPlaybook has confirmed, Washington recruiting coordinator/linebackers coach Peter Sirmon will join Steve Sarkisian at USC.

Scout's Greg Biggins on the addition of Sirmon to the Trojan program: I know I sound like a broken record, but I'm a big fan of Sirmon, feel like I keep saying the same thing but Sark is putting together a very good staff. He's a very good guy, works hard, young, high energy and kids out here will love him. Very good football player as well out of Oregon so he's highly respected and will do a great job.

Sarkisian has Johnny Nansen, Keith Heyward, and Jordan Paopao from his Washington staff in place on his new staff at USC. He is retaining USC receivers coach Tee Martin, as well.

Sirmon joined Sarkisian at UW in Jan. 2012.

Sirmon played four years of college football at Oregon before playing seven years in the NFL with the Tennessee Titans.
