Former USC swim team walk-on and team captain Fred Uytengsu contributed the largest ever gift by a former student-athlete, donating $8 million dollars to the Trojans' new $16 million dollar aquatics facility, the Uytengsu Aquatics Center.

The aquatics facility concludes phase two of USC's efforts of building and renovating USC's athletics structures. The Uytengsu Aquatics Center will be home to four USC teams, including men's and women's swimming and diving, as well as men's and women's water polo.

Included in the new facility is an Olympic-caliber diving structure, diving and dry land training areas, stadium seating, a dance studio, as well as new meeting rooms and offices.
