Marquetti signs with USC

2014 Long Beach (Calif.) Millikan small forward signs with the Trojans to start the spring signing period...

USC received its National Letter of Intent on Thursday from Long Beach (Calif.) Millikan small forward Malik Marquetti.

Marquetti is a 2014 Scout three-star recruit who will be able to make an immediate impact for the Trojans.

"Malik is a versatile player that can play multiple positions," USC coach Andy Enfield said in a statement released by the university. "Offensively he can score and make plays for his teammates. His long wing span and toughness make him an excellent defender and rebounder."

Marquetti, 6-foot-6 185-pounds, is considered a top 'sleeper' prospect in the 2014 class by Scout's basketball recruiting analysts -- bursting onto the scene his senior season.

Marquetti joins Jordan McLaughlin and Malik Price-Martin as part of the Trojans 2014 recruiting class.
