Crawford had 'great time' at USC spring game

One player in the running for top receiver in the West Coast 2016 class is La Canada (Calif.) St. Francis' Dylan Crawford. The athlete has come along way in a short time and has looked great this spring.

When we talked with Dylan Crawford back in mid-March at the Pylon 7v7 in Las Vegas, Hawaii was his lone offer. Fast forward to late April and Crawford is one of the most coveted recruits in the 2016 class.

"Hawaii was my first offer and then I picked up USC, Arizona State, Tennessee and Miami," Crawford said. "I'm definitely excited about how recruiting is going right now and all the schools coming in for me. I'm just trying to stay humble and keep working. I know I have to get a lot better and that's my main focus."

Crawford attended the USC spring game two weeks ago and the Trojans could be in the drivers seat for the talented athlete.

"I had a great time, I loved it there," Crawford said. "I loved how hard the team works, it was fun hanging out with the other recruits and I enjoyed the game itself. They did a hitting drill before the game that got everyone hyped up and it was just an awesome experience.

"I've been to USC 4-5 times now and I'm very comfortable there. USC is recruiting me harder than anyone and I like them a lot but I'm still open to all schools. I'm not close to making a decision and I still want to go through the process."

Crawford will be active on the summer camp circuit checking out some schools outside the region.

"I'm going to camp with Tennessee for sure and I'm trying to get to Miami too," Crawford said. "I'll also camp with USC and we'll see what else comes up. I wont' drag this out, once I get that special feeling and find the right school, I'll go ahead and commit.

"I'm looking for a school where I'll be comfortable and where everything feels right. Academics are big for me and on field success is obviously big too, I want to win. Once I find what I'm looking for, I'll go ahead and pull the trigger."
