Gustin raves about USC staff

USC stops by Salem (Utah) Salem Hills to see 2015 four-star outside linebacker Porter Gustin...

To say the recruitment of 2015 Salem (Utah) Salem Hills linebacker Porter Gustin has taken off in the last two months would be an understatement.

The Scout four-star has amassed over 20 offers in the short time frame, since moving from Idaho to Utah and having his film distributed to colleges.

Included in that list of 20 offers is USC.

Gustin has already made it out to visit the Trojans campus and he was one of the first stops for USC tight ends coach Marques Tuiasosopo during the recruiting period.

On Tuesday, two more coaches clad in Cardinal and Gold stopped by Salem Hills.

This time, it was defensive coordinator Justin Wilcox and linebackers coach Peter Sirmon.

"[Coach] Wilcox and Coach Sirmon are studs!" Gustin told Scout.

Gustin says the Trojan staff has been emphasizing that he would be a solid fit in their defensive scheme and that he would love the vibe that has taken over at USC.

Scout's No. 8 rated outside linebacker, Gustin hasn't begun to narrow his long list of offers, yet.

"I plan to see a few more schools and narrow it all down in the kind of near future," he said.

It is believed Gustin is one of the Trojans top priorities in 2015 at linebacker.
