Video, USC defensive back Josh Shaw discusses returning to B2G Elite Camp to coach current high school players. Shaw also recaps what he learned in a talk with Seahawks cornerback and former B2G player Richard Sherman...
USC defensive back Josh Shaw has a packed summer schedule, but he has found time over the last few days to make the drive from USC to Thousand Oaks (Calif.) to help coach at B2G's Elite Camp.
Shaw, a B2G alum, is juggling a summer internship at CBRE - a commercial real estate firm in Los Angeles, in between USC morning football workouts and player-run practices. He earned enough credits to walk at USC's graduation in May.
The fifth-year senior is entering his third season at USC since transferring from Florida. An early 2015 NFL Draft report by ESPN's Mel Kiper lists him as the No. 2 cornerback in the class.
Though Shaw is at B2G now as a coach, he became a student of the game with the high school campers when Seattle Seahawk cornerback Richard Sherman joined the campers via Skype to discuss life and football.
Shaw told Scout that Sherman, also a former B2G player, is an athlete he studies on film and looks to as an inspirational story.
