2016 La Puente (Calif.) Bishop Amat receiver Trevon Sidney just wrapped up his sophomore year of high school, but he's already attracted attention from some of the top football programs in the country.

Sidney, Scout's No. 1 rated receiver in the class, is up to six scholarship offers including USC, UCLA, Utah, Miami, Arizona, and Washington.

A Los Angeles native, Sidney says he grew up watching both USC and UCLA football. Both programs have aggressive recruiters in charge of Sidney; it's receivers coach Tee Martin for the Trojans and defensive backs coach Demetrice Martin for the Bruins.

Oregon, Ohio State, and Florida are three programs Sidney would still like to catch the eye of.

He will camp at USC's Rising Stars.

Sidney is a Scout four-star recruit. He's ranked No. 21 in the Scout 100.

*Editors Note: Video interview correction, Sidney has six, not seven, scholarship offers.
