Video, Dan Weber and Lindsey Thiry discuss USC's player-run practice No. 11...
Over 90 members of the USC football team were on Cromwell Field on Tuesday morning for conditioning drills followed by player-run practice.
The offensive and defensive linemen did not participate in one-on-one drills Tuesday. A lineman told Scout players have been instructed not to run the competitive o-line vs. d-line drill anymore since redshirt freshmen Kenny Bigelow suffered an injury during the drill a week ago.
Bigelow would not disclose the injury, though it does not appear serious. The defensive tackle appeared to have participated to some extent in conditioning drills (media is not allowed to observe conditioning).
Making his first appearance at the PRP was redshirt sophomore Jabari Ruffin. The outside linebacker told Scout he missed the previous practices (held in the afternoon) due to his summer class schedule.
The Trojans are scheduled to hold three more player-run practices before taking a few days off in preparation for fall camp, which is slated to start Aug. 4.
