Bryce Dixon no longer at USC

With Bryce Dixon gone, the Trojans have one scholarship tight end left on the roster and two expected to join the team in the fall.

Sophomore tight end Bryce Dixon missed USC spring ball for what the university called a student conduct violation. On Thursday, the school announced that Dixon was no longer enrolled at USC.

That leaves redshirt junior Jalen Cope-Fitzpatick as the only scholarship tight end left on the roster. This fall true freshman Tyler Petite will join the team as well as redshirt junior Taylor McNamara, the expected transfer from Oklahoma.

With Dixon's departure, we now project USC to have 77 overall scholarship players on the roster and 75 recruited scholarship players. The current breakdown is 30 freshmen, 16 sophomores, 15 juniors and 16 seniors. The Trojans also have 7 verbal commits for the class of 2016.

In our updated Scholarship Distribution Chart Bryce Dixon is removed and Taylor McNamara is added.
