The USC football team held its final scrimmage of fall camp over the weekend in preparation for the highly anticipated 2015 season.
After three days of head-turning action by three-way star Adoree Jackson, it was the defense's day to shine on Howard Jones Field. The entire defensive front played with passion and simply inflicted their will on the Trojan offensive line.
With troubles up front protecting the passer and opening up running lanes, the USC offense led by Cody Kessler and Max Browne could never get going. The offensive unit didn't looked comfortable leading to stalled drives, fumbles and an interception.
Linebacker Michael Hutchings had the play of the day, picking off a pass from Browne and returning it 95 yards before being tackled at the one-yard line by transfer wide receiver Da'Quan Hampton.
True freshman Dominic Davis looked the best on the offensive side, making guys miss and breaking some big runs when he could find some space and get out into the open field.
College football expert and Fox Sports television and radio host Colin Cowherd was in attendance for the scrimmage and talked about what he saw with USCFootball.com.
