Senior linebacker Quinton Powell was rather quiet in USC's Spring Game on Saturday after having a strong string of practices throughout the first 14 workouts.
But Powell was not discouraged after the outing.
For the spring, he felt he had showed he was coachable and could make plays from sideline-to-sideline. Powell represented a microcosm of the team as a whole. Strides were taken, but there's still much work to do before the trip to Texas to take on Alabama.
"I think that we came a long way from the beginning of spring until now," Powell said before cautioning. "But [we have to] get better, man. We've got Alabama and they aren't going to settle for nothing but greatness."
Watch Quinton Powell talk about where the Trojans stand after the conclusion of their 15 spring practices and where they must go from here.
