Four-star Los Angeles (Calif.) Salesian cornerback Deommodore Lenoir has seen his recruitment blow up this spring. He already had a number of scholarship offers, but he’s picked up offers from some of college football’s heavy hitters recently.
Oregon rang in the month of March with an offer. Notre Dame later tossed the potential to wear a different shade of green. Local school and childhood favorite USC offered in April and in May, Lenoir has received offers from national champion Alabama and traditional SEC East power Florida.
But on Thursday night, the 6-foot, 170-pound defensive back ranked No. 64 in the Scout 300 narrowed down his list of schools to a current top 10, thanking “all the coaches recruiting me and believing I can come contribute to your program.”
Lenoir had really been wanting the USC offer and telling people of his desire for that USC offer, so even though the Trojans came in a little later that other teams, they are still right there in the mix.
Local Pac-12 schools USC and UCLA both made Lenoir’s top 10, but this isn’t necessarily his final 10. Instead, “as of right now, these are my top 10 choices.”
Other recent offers that made the current cut include Alabama, Florida, Oregon and Notre Dame while Lenoir also has Nebraska, LSU, Michigan and San Diego State in contention.
