Alijah Vera-Tucker isolation domination

BERKELEY, Calif. -- Isolation highlights of 2017 Oakland (Calif.) Bishop O'Dowd offensive lineman Alijah Vera-Tucker against Albany (Calif.) Saint Mary's.

As the No. 1 ranked offensive tackle in the talent-rich state of California, Alijah Vera-Tucker is expected to be one of the top players on the field whenever he lines up for Oakland (Calif.) Bishop O'Dowd. He was exactly that against Albany (Calif.) Saint Mary's on Saturday afternoon.

The 6-foot-4.5, 290-pound USC commit absolutely dominated against the Panthers. He was the best player on the field as he punished any would-be Saint Mary's pass rushers and cleared the way for the Dragons' running backs. When Vera-Tucker wasn't blocking defenders -- all the way to the sidelines on at least one occasion, he was showing off his other blocking abilities. Vera-Tucker swatted down one of Saint Mary's punt attempts, setting up one of Bishop O'Dowd's touchdowns. The Dragons finished with a 48-7 victory to improve to 3-0 on the season with a 162-14 margin of victory.
