Presenting the War Room

It’s a travel day War Room with our staff heading up to Seattle for USC’s huge match-up with Washington. Before we go we left you some updates on USC recruiting, thoughts on the team and even a few Trojan basketball tidbits.

More details of what is inside:

  • USC hosted a couple of “hush hush” visitors over the weekend. We have an update on them plus more on quarterback recruiting.
  • Will a local five-star prospect’s injury impact his recruitment and what does it mean for USC?
  • Some pretty high praise for USC quarterback Sam Darnold from the people in charge of stopping him.
  • Defensive linemen Rasheem Green has vastly improved this season thanks to some study habits he has picked up along the way.
  • Utah transfer Stevie Tu’ikolovatu is not only a stud on the defensive line, he helps his teammates out by acting as an extra assistant coach for Clay Helton.
  • How has this Trojan defense got better this year? Part of the reason is because of the scholarship talent now practicing on the USC scout team.
  • USC basketball season opens tonight and we have a few takes on what Trojan fans can expect.
  • Plus plenty more!

The one rule we have for the War Room is simply that everything that is reported here should stay here and on The Peristyle. Sometimes the info is sensitive enough that it simply does not need to be passed on beyond the doors of this thread.

Please honor this request and we will continue to do our best to provide all of our subscribers with a great perspective on the program.

This is a special feature for USCFootball.com subscribers only written by the USCFootball.com staff and Scout.com analysts. The reason why it is posted on the premium board is that it is the only way to ensure that the info stays exclusive to the Trojan fans.

This will only work if everyone helps make it work by not copying or reprinting the information.
