Presenting the War Room

In our rivalry week part two War Room we preview a huge recruiting weekend and get the players’ thoughts on which rivalry game is more important.

More details of what is inside:

  • Besides the big game, this is also a big weekend for USC recruiting. We talk about official visitors including a couple of surprises set to be on campus.
  • Head coach Clay Helton is intent on building this team from the inside out, which is why there is more focus on the offensive and defensive lines.
  • USC has two main rivals, one local and one national. We talked to several players to see which game carried more weight for them.
  • Saturday will be the final game in the Coliseum for several seniors who have seen it all, including two mid-year head coach firings, in their college careers.
  • We discuss superstar Adoree Jackson being a student of the game, a teacher to others and his overall impact on the team.
  • The most interesting man on the USC defensive line made a Thanksgiving promise.
  • Plus plenty more!

The one rule we have for the War Room is simply that everything that is reported here should stay here and on The Peristyle. Sometimes the info is sensitive enough that it simply does not need to be passed on beyond the doors of this thread.

Please honor this request and we will continue to do our best to provide all of our subscribers with a great perspective on the program.

This is a special feature for USCFootball.com subscribers only written by the USCFootball.com staff and Scout.com analysts. The reason why it is posted on the premium board is that it is the only way to ensure that the info stays exclusive to the Trojan fans.

This will only work if everyone helps make it work by not copying or reprinting the information.
