Four-star Mission Viejo (Calif.) cornerback Olaijah Griffin has already received plenty of notoriety during this recruiting cycle just because he is rapper Warren G's son, but he is gaining more and more attention on the field because of his physicality and playmaking ability on the outside.
Griffin helped Mission Viejo to an 11-1 record this season, playing both ways for the Diablos. He finished with 39 catches for 759 yards and 11 touchdowns on the offensive side, but his future at the next level is likely on the defensive end where he had 35 tackles, including four tackles for loss, and two interceptions.
The 6-foot, 170-pound Griffin is spending this offseason working with the Ground Zero training facility and playing for its 7-on-7 team.
