USC Trojans TE Crossover Rankings

How did the 2017 class compare to other Trojan TE commits this decade?

The USC Trojans landed the #5 ranked recruiting class in the Scout.com 2017 team rankings, but how does the tight end position rank compared to other 'SC classes?

Overview: The Trojans landed two tight ends in the 2017 recruiting class; four-star Josh Falo and three-star Erick Krommenhoek. Falo is the fifth-highest rated TE the Trojans have signed this decade.  Krommenhoek comes in tenth out of ten.

USC TE rated too high:  Jalen Cope-Fitzpatrick

USC TE rated too low: Cary Angeline

USC TE notes: The TE position has seen four of the ten commits this decade either transfer or leave football altogether before their career had a chance to take off.  The 2010 class of Grimble, Telfer and Thomas was the best haul of the decade with both Grimble and Telfer playing in the NFL.  The 2017 class is only the second multiplayer TE class since 2010.  Daniel Imatorbhebhe transferred into 'SC via Florida and is not part of the rankings.  All but two (Angeline and Krommenhoek) earned Scout 300 honors. http://www.scout.com/college/usc/story/1712054-subscribe-to-uscfootball-...
