Trojans react to Adoree' Jackson's first round selection

USC players from past, present and future react to beloved cornerback/returner Adoree' Jackson being selected in the middle of the first round by the Tennessee Titans with the No. 18 overall pick.

On Thursday night, Adoree' Jackson and his parents walked the red carpet on the steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art made famous in the movie "Rocky." Like Sylvester Stallone's character, Jackson was a bit of an underdog at the event with some people wondering why he would attend when he wasn't a certain first round draft pick. But unbeknownst to most, the Tennessee Titans had apparently been keeping close tabs on the do-it-all ultra performer and snatched him up with the No. 18 overall pick.

The selection of Jackson was the record 80th time a USC Trojan has been drafted in the first round of the NFL draft. He becomes USC's 497th NFL draft pick -- the most of any school in the country.

Jackson was the Trojans' first true cornerback to be picked in the opening round. For the last USC defensive back selected in round 1, you have to go back to future Hall of Famer Troy Polamalu in 2003 when he was picked No. 16 overall. Jackson was the most electrifying Trojan since Reggie Bush and a player that everyone gravitated to, so it was no surprise that many people chimed in to congratulate one of the most popular USC players of all time.

The Trojans continue to have a strong NFL draft legacy as evidenced by 13 first-round draft picks in the last 10 years. Several of those Trojans as well as other previous, current and future USC players took to Twitter to react after Jackson was drafted by the Titans:
