166 of the best high school football players in the country headed up to NIKE headquarters to participate in The Opening Finals and none of them ran faster than USC cornerback target Isaac Taylor-Stuart. The four-star standout ran the fastest 40-yard dash during the testing phase and followed that up with an impressive performance during one-on-ones and seven-on-seven competitions.
Taylor-Stuart talked to USCFootball.com's Gerard Martinez about working on his speed.
“It was great and I’ve been working on my speed for a while,” said Taylor-Stuart. “At the regional, I came out and lost in that competition, so I worked with one of my old coaches for youth track.
“He really helped me with my get out and reaction time. That helped me with me in that event. I knew there were going to be some super fast track boys out here, so I had to dust them fast and get them out of the way early in the race.”
