Recruiting class update

Recruiting is in full swing right now and the Trojan coaches will be hitting the road this bye weekend to catch some of the top recruits in action. Click below for an updated list of recruits for the Class of 2004:

Tuiasosopo remains the top quarterback on the wish list with his combination of athletic and leadership ability.  The Trojans will continue to recruit Hinds, despite the recent injury, and Longshore remains an option as well.

Matt Tuiasosopo (Woodinville HS, WA)

Rocky Hinds (St. Bernard's HS)

Nate Longshore (Canyon HS)

Robert Johnson (Reedley College)

Faaeteete is the primary option at fullback and it looks good for the Trojans on this one.  There's no guarantee that we'll take a tailback this year but we're in on some pretty good players.

Sekeli Faaeteete (San Leandro HS)

Darius Walker (Buford HS, GA)

Marshawn Lynch (Oakland Tech)

Terrell Jackson (Centennial HS)

Patrick Fuller (Charter Oak HS)

There are plenty of talented wideouts available this year with Jarrett and Jones at the top of the wish list.

Dwayne Jarrett (New Brunswick HS, NJ)

Early Doucet (St. Martinville HS, LA)

Kenny O'Neal (Skyline HS)

DeMacho Ousley (Washington HS, OK)

Jimmy Miller has already committed to the Trojans although it remains to be seen if he will play offense or defense.  We'll take at least one more player at this position.

Jimmy Miller (Westlake HS)

Dale Thompson (Santiago HS)

Jaison Williams (Culver City HS)

Zach Miller (Desert Vista HS, AZ)

Rachal is another verbal for USC and he's an excellent run blocking lineman.  Byers is the unanimous choice among recruiting experts as the top OL in the country and our chances are solid right now.

Chilo Rachal (Dominguez HS)

Jeff Byers (Loveland HS, CO)

Thomas Herring (Fremont HS)

John Gibson (St. Mary's HS)

Alex Fletcher (St. Anthony's HS, NY)

Ryan Powdrell (Saddleback College)

Kyle Williams (Bolingbrook HS, IL)

Brandon Siler (Evans HS, FL)

Worrell Williams (Grant Union HS)

The Trojans already have commits from JC safety Scott Ware as well as Lamar Herron with Lamar having the ability to play multiple positions.  USC would love to add Estes to the mix with Randy being the top safety in the nation.  There are several athletic corners on the list.
