SC recruiting JC receiver

The Trojans have begun recruiting Mt San Antonio College wide receiver Delanie Walker (6-4, 220). Walker has given a verbal commitment to ASU but says his final decision will be based on "wherever I feel most comfortable". Click below for more details:

"I've had good contact with one of the USC coaches, Coach Sarkisian, he came out and talked to me and told me they liked how I play and they want to try and recruit me there. I like USC, that's a good school, first of all, and it's also a good place to play wide receiver. I feel good about the fact that they are recruiting me.

"I am verbally committed to ASU but my final decision will be based on wherever I feel most comfortable. I'm also looking at Kansas State and Oregon State. I'll probably enroll next fall at whichever school I choose.

"I consider myself an all-around receiver. I'm built like Mike Williams and I can run a 4.4 40. Just imagine someone who is shifty and powerful at the same time."

Delanie Walker attended Pomona HS and committed to UTEP out of high school. In the 2003 season he had 50 catches for 669 yards and 8 touchdowns, including 14 catches for 268 yards and 3 TDs in his final game Recap of final game from
