Mark Sanchez (QB, Mission Viejo)
Sanchez attended the USC skills camp and was the most polished quarterback there. He received a scholarship offer shortly after the camp and it would be somewhat of a surprise if the longtime Trojan fan doesn't end up at USC.
Marlon Lucky (RB, North Hollywood)
Terrific pass catcher with shifty moves in the mode of Marshall Faulk or Barry Sanders, Marlon has long listed the Trojans among his top choices and he recently received an offer.
Desean Jackson (WR, Long Beach Poly)
An explosive athlete with great hands, Jackson earned a scholarship offer after his impressive performance at the skills camp. Desean also plays baseball and has been told by the USC coaches that he could play both sports as a Trojan.
Jessie Hester (WR, Wellington FL)
The Trojans have done well in the state of Florida with the wide receiver position lately and Hester has drawn interest from the USC coaches. His father played at FSU so the Seminoles could be tough to beat.
Nick Howell (OL, Bullard)
The son of former Trojan All-American Pat Howell, Nick has a bright future as a lineman in his own regard and he showed that at the USC line camp. He has long arms and good footwork (also a volleyball player).
Dace Richardson (OL, Warrenville South IL)
A native of Southern California who has terrific footwork along with a huge frame. Dace has only been playing football for two years and has major potential. USC will recruit Dace and teammate TE Anthony Moeaki.
Walker Ashley (DL, Eden Prairie MN)
A big DT who has interest in USC, his father played in the NFL for Pete Carroll and Monte Kiffin (father of USC WR coach Lane).
Callahan Bright (DL, Harriton PA)
A good athlete for his size, Callahan stars on both sides of the line in football and also plays lacrosse and throws the shotput. He wants to attend college in warm weather.
Adrian McCovey (LB, Lakewood)
The majority of early national attention went to teammate Luthur Brown but there's no doubt Adrian will be a top prospect as well. Adrian has a basketball frame and as he bulks up in college he should be a big time player.
Tray Blackmon (LB, LaGrange GA)
Tremendous hitter with great pursuit ability who looks very impressive on film. The Trojans have begun recruiting him hard and he's open to considering USC.
Kevin Thomas (CB, Rio Mesa)
Corner is the primary position of need in this class and Thomas was the top corner at the skills camp. He's smooth, he changes direction well and has a tall, lanky frame similar to Terrell Thomas (no relation).
Troy Van Blarcom (K, Orange Lutheran)
Van Blarcom attended the skills camp along with several of the other top kicking prospects in the area and his performance was enough to convince the coaches to quickly offer a scholarship. Troy had long been a Trojan fan and he accepted on the spot to be the first verbal commit for the USC class of 2005.
