"Luthur is at 6-3, 230 right now and he's been a man among boys. Physically it's just ridiculous. USC was down here and saw Luthur practice and they couldn't believe it. He's a freak. He just practices at such a high intensity and they love how he would fit in because that's the way they play. Adrian is more quiet and if some teams mistake that for a lack of competitiveness, it's not. Those two compete at everything. Adrian is at 218 pounds right now and is just growing to the point where some college coaches think he might end up at rush end. With Luthur I'm not sure how much bigger he will get because he's already physically developed but Adrian still has a way to go."
Christensen says Brown has been offered by USC, Kansas State, Oklahoma, Miami, Boston College, Arizona, Arizona State, Cal, Washington and Nebraska. He says McCovey has been offered by Arizona, Arizona State, Washington, Oklahoma, Nebraska and Oregon State (the only school to offer McCovey and not Brown). There had been earlier reports that McCovey had received an offer from USC but Christensen says that is not the case.
