Edmond Miles update

Edmond Miles, 6'1, 195 pound linebacker of Tallahassee Godby has a new leader after taking an official visit last week. Who is it and where do the Trojans stand?

The last time we spoke to Edmond Miles, USC was his clear leader. Things have changed recently however and he has a new leader after an official visit left a big impression. "I took a visit to Iowa and they're at the top of the list right now" explained Miles. "I took it last week. I had a pretty good time. Nice people, nice town, nice program."

In looking at the other programs under consideration by Miles, it's a good bet that he'll be leaving the Sunshine State. The other schools being looked at by the speedy linebacker include Arkansas, USC, and North Carolina. Of interest to Trojan fans is the fact that his official visit to USC has been changed from December 7th, to January 11th. This is for a good reason though as he's taking an entrance exam that day. Miles has also scheduled an official visit to Arkansas for January 19th and he stated that he will fit North Carolina in there somewhere too. He went on to say that he plans on making his decision one week after his last visit.

USC is still very involved for the Florida star's services and Coach Lane Kiffin was just in Miles' house today for his first in-home visit. On the visit, he noted "I've talked to him [Coach Kiffin] a lot on the phone. He said some nice things about the school and everything." Miles also said that the Trojans are recruiting him for the will linebacker spot.

Tallahassee Godby finished the season at 7-3. "I ended up with 132 tackles" explained Miles. "That's more than what I ended up with last year in the regular season."
