"I liked it." exclaimed Brown. "I met the coaches, went to the Coliseum, hung out with the players, went to Sunset and Hollywood, and saw practices." Brown was particularly impressed with the Trojans' home stadium and the night life in L.A., "The best thing…, I liked the Coliseum. I also liked hanging out with the players at night, the places we went, and I liked the tour a little bit, but I was kind of tired from the night before, but it was interesting." He also added that he and the other recruits went out to dinner at "Reign" and "B.B. King's" and that he enjoyed both. In talking about his host, Keary Colbert, Brown remarked, "yeah, he was a cool guy. I liked him a lot." Brown also enjoyed meeting all of the coaches, "I liked the coaches too. I talked to Coach Wilson, the receivers coach. Coach Carroll, I talked to the Offensive Coordinator. I talked to Coach Kiffin…..that's who's recruiting me, Coach Kiffin."
Although Brown said he had a great time on his trip, he did not commit and has no plans to make a decision anytime soon. He's also considering Michigan State, Oklahoma, and Purdue and claims no leader, "Not right now. I'll probably know who my leaders are after all of my visits." Brown has already visited Purdue and he will visit Michigan State on December 7th and Oklahoma on December 14th. What is it that he's looking for in the school he chooses? He answered that as he stated "The coaching staff, things I can do socially….so I don't get bored, and academics." Is distance from home a factor? "A little bit, but I don't know right now."
Brown is considered one of the best athletes in nation and this is evidenced by the fact that he's rated the #39 overall prospect by TheInsiders.com. Before going down with a torn ACL in the third game, he played quarterback, receiver, tailback, and cornerback. Most schools however, are recruiting him as a wide receiver and that includes USC. Brown also stated that he is unaware if any of the other prospects on the trip committed.
