High School Football "Classics" on FSN2

Fox Sports Net 2 will televise a "Classic" high school game of the week each Sunday at 8:00pm. Click below for the schedule.

FSN West 2 brings viewers 10 of the most exciting high school football games from the past seven years beginning Sunday, August 29 at 8:00 PM. High School Football Classic games date back to 1997 when the network began telecasting the HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL GAME OF THE WEEK.

The "Classic" schedule is highlighted by Concord De La Salle vs. Long Beach Poly (2001), the only time that the nation's #1 and #2 teams have ever met. Other games feature the Mater Dei vs. Long Beach Poly Division 1 championship in 1998 that made future USC star Matt Grootegoed a high school football legend and the Hail Mary pass to determine the Los Alamitos vs. Hart outcome.

For ten straight Sunday nights at 8:00 PM on FSN West 2, football fans have a chance to enjoy some of Southern California's classic prep gridiron contests. The "Classic" games were selected from nearly 90 games that the regional sports network has telecast. The games are replayed the following Monday nights at 11 PM.
