It was an offensive explosion tonight at Mission Viejo HS as the Diablos put a 55-21 defeat on the Los Alamitos Griffins. Trojan commit Mark Sanchez had a good game as he went 10-15 for 190 yards and three touchdowns but the star on this night was junior RB Chane Moline.

Chane "The Train" went for 277 yards on 15 carries with four touchdowns and he also added two receptions for 32 yards and another score. Junior Konrad Reuland (TE) and Sean Fitzgerald (WR) caught the other touchdown passes from Sanchez.

"I just let Chane do all the work tonight," said Sanchez. "It was an opening game win and we've got a lot to work on in practice. I'm happy with the way we played."

Sanchez looked solid including the beautiful corner throw to Fitzgerald. Moline is a 230 pound back who wore down the Los Al defense and rarely went down on the first hit. He'll be highly recruited next year. Reuland will also be a top recruit next year.

Mission Viejo captains Kevin Bemoll, Ryan Williams, Chase Moline, Nick Reed and Mark Sanchez
