Recruiting Update: LB Fletcher Sessions

LB Fletcher Sessions of John Tyler HS in Texas may not intimidate anybody with his size, but his play is flat out scary. Consider these numbers: As a junior he racked up 80 solo stops in addition to 156 assists on his way to earning all state recognition. Fletcher tripped to USC last weekend, and I had a chance to talk to him tonight. Here's what he had to say:

M: Fletcher, I understand you tripped USC this past weekend. How did it go?

F: It was nice. It was the first time I've ever been to LA, but it was cool.

M: What other schools are you looking at?

F: LSU, Tex. Tech, Purdue, Tulane

M: Any leaders?

F: My top two would probably be LSU and USC.

M: What position is USC recruiting you to play?

F: Outside Linebacker.

M: Can you give me your height, weight, 40 time?

F: I'm 6-0, I weigh 213 lbs. and I run a 4.56 forty.

M: Which coach is recruiting you?

F: Coach Holt, he's crazy, really animated.

M: When do you think you'll be picking a school?

F: Probably in the middle of January.
