Trojan WR Marcell Allmond was readmitted to school on Monday following a meeting with the USC student conduct department.
Allmond had been suspended for the fall semester following an altercation and was forced to sit out the 2001 football season. The student conduct meeting was held to show that he had completed all the necessary requirements for his return, including anger management classes, and will continue to attend those classes and work with a psychologist.
Still to come will be his acceptance back to the team after implicating teammate Frank Strong in the altercation and the biggest test will come during spring ball when he hits the field.
"I have to prove that I can still be the teammate they want me to be, the leader they want me to be and the player they need me to be," said Allmond.
