Chow to Tennessee Titans

In a move that has been rumored for weeks, but is still a shock to Trojan fans everywhere, offensive coordinator Norm Chow announced that he will leave USC to become the OC for the Tennessee Titans.

Chow has been the architect of one of the most amazing offenses in college football history as the Trojans have rolled to consecutive national championships and a pair of Heisman Trophy winning quarterbacks during his four year tenure at the school.

Chow came to USC from North Carolina State following a long run at BYU which also included a national title and a Heisman QB. When USC head coach Pete Carroll took the job the first coach he targeted was Chow, despite no previous relationship between the two, and the partnership produced tremendous results with what we have seen in recent years. For an offensive technician such as Chow it had to be a dream to work with the caliber of athletes he had at his disposal with the Trojans and with Norm pulling the strings the offense put up record breaking numbers.

It remains to be seen how the offensive coaching structure will work from this point on but there's no denying that the loss of Chow is a sad day for the Trojan football program. Top Stories
