Jonas Mouton got some good news this morning when he found out the USC Trojans had offered and he ended the day by heading to the USC campus to watch the annual NFL Timing Day.

"I called the SC coaches this morning and they told me they were offering," said Jonas. "It was at 8:00am this morning and they had told me they just got done watching my tape and they wanted to offer me a scholarship. Coach Carroll was the one who made the offer. He said they had been looking at me for a while and now they wanted to make it official and they want me to be a Trojan. After I heard that it made me want to go down there even more for Pro Day. It was a nice event, it's what any athlete thinks of because that's where you want to be. I've got some friends who play on the team, I played with Lawrence Jackson at Inglewood, I know Kevin Ellison, so I just hung out with them and watched the drills."

USC is the sixth school to offer Jonas along with Oregon (two days ago), Nebraska, Washington State, Mississippi and Mississippi State. The Trojans are recruiting him as a safety.
