"I don't have a top five or a leader anymore. The last time we spoke I told you that it was Virginia, but things have changed since then," said Odrick, from Lebanon High School.
"It's just too early for me to tell if I've really got a top five--especially with USC and Notre Dame coming into the picture recently.
"Coach (Todd) McNair (running backs) from USC is the recruiting coordinator for this area," he said. "Me and my coach have both been in touch with him. They actually came into the picture this past week.
"From what I heard, coach McNair originally came over here this past week to see LeSean McCoy (running back) out of Bishop McDevitt. I guess he and the whole staff at USC heard about me tearing it up at a football combine, so after he visited with LeSean, he came over to my high school to see me on Tuesday.
"And he also made it to the Elite combine (5/4) that I was at in New Jersey.
"And coach (John) Latina (offensive line) from Notre Dame was recently at my school. I guess he also liked how I performed at the Elite combine as well.
"This summer me and my family are going to travel down through the south, up through the north, in the middle of the country, and maybe even to some West Coast schools. I don't know which ones we're going to visit, but I know that it's going to be a lot," he said.
"I think that by the time summer is over I'll be able to have a solid top five list of schools that I want to go to."
"I'm looking to commit to a school closer to Signing Day," he said.
"I really just want to get around to all of these schools so that I can meet a lot of the players and have some good in-depth conversations with some of the coaches. I want to really see what a program has to offer me, so that I get a better feel for my decision.
"I'm looking for a certain level of comfort especially with the coaches and players of a program," said Odrick. "I also want to know what other players out there are being offered at my position. I'm looking to go into a program and get playing time right away. It's never been a plan of mine to redshirt.
"I've been working hard enough on my speed, strength and footwork, so I think that I'll be physically prepared to play at the collegiate level when it's time."
