* The top performers on the day in terms of Trojan recruits were DB Taylor Mays, WR David Ausberry and LB Joshua Tatum.

Mays has a Dennis Smith-type frame and the most impressive part of watching him on the field is his body control. During the defensive back drills he has the best technique of any player in his group, that's nice to see when the player with the best technique is also two inches and fifteen pounds bigger than any other player in the group.

Ausberry measured in at 6-3.5, 213 and had a 32" vert along with a 4.6 40. David really stands out as a receiver with his size and long frame, he also is very coordinated in his running motion. Ausberry and Mays spent a lot of time talking after the camp, they exchanged phone numbers and talked about attending the USC summer camp together. The two faced off on one play in the passing drills but the pass was not a good one.

Tatum is thick, very solid through his upper body and hips. He also has an aggressive attitude on the field whenever the ball is snapped. It's easy to see why he is an attractive recruit to the Trojan coaches. He has a similar muscular frame to former Trojan backer Mike Pollard.

Others who looked good:

* WR/DB DeLaShaun Dean
* RB DeMarco Murray
* DE Keith Browner
* DE Chris Lewis
* LB Jamarr Robinson
* DL Derrick Hill
* TE Naderris Ward (McClymonds) did not go through drillls but he was the most impressive looking tight end there.
