Trojans offer Jake Locker

Washington quarterback/safety Jake Locker (6-2, 210, 4.5) claims his most recent offer has come from USC. He said he's received previous offers from Michigan, Utah, Washington, Cal, Stanford, Tennessee and Idaho, among several others.

"I'll for sure have a top five by the end of the summer," said Locker, from Ferndale High School.

"I really try to stay in contact with a lot of these coaches from these programs. I talk with the coaches at Washington and Cal a lot.

"I was just at Cal this past weekend (6/11) for one of their camps. Everything went really well for me there and I really enjoyed working with their coaching staff. The campus there is great and they offer some really great educational opportunities for me," he said.

"I'm really happy about the offer from USC. They're definitely a school that I'm going to consider. They're obviously a great school education-wise and the athletic part of their program is second to none. They've got some great coaches there and some great guys on the team. The personalities and morals that they have is what I'm looking for in a program," he said.

"I don't have any dates set up yet…but I'd like to get out to Stanford and USC for unofficial visits if I can. And I'd also like to see Oregon State for an unofficial visit as well," he said.

Locker reports a 3.8 GPA/May 7 SAT unrevealed
