In My Heart

Virginia Beach (Va.) wide receiver Percy Harvin (5-11, 182, 4.35) denies a leader but favors USC, Florida, Miami, Florida State, Michigan and Tennessee. All have offered.

The super receiving threat was featured on the cover of SuperPrep's Pre-Season magazine, where he was also named the #1 prospect in the nation.

"All these schools are recruiting me real hard and I know in my heart that I'm wide open right now. I'm not leaning towards any particular school," said Harvin, from Landstown High School.

"I've set up official visits with USC (10/28), Florida (9/16) and Miami (11/4) so far. And I know that I want to get out to Florida State for sure, I just don't have a date yet. My last official will probably come down between Michigan and Tennessee.

"I like the fact that USC is on top right now and I want to play for a team that is on top," he said.

"Florida runs the same kind of offense that we do at my high school. It's a wide-open offense and we pass on pretty much every down. I like all of the coaches at Florida and we all get along with each other pretty good.

"I've grown up a fan of Miami and Florida State my whole life, so they're definitely in there for me.

"Michigan passes the ball a lot and both them and Tennessee always put good wide receivers into the League," said Harvin.
