NJ safety Antwine Perez, ranked as the #3 safety in the nation, gave a verbal commit this morning to the USC Trojans. Click below for more.
"All (of USC's) coaches are down to earth and nice people," Perez told NJ.com. "All the players are cool, (star running back) Reggie Bush and (Heisman Trophy winning quarterback) Matt Leinart are just like everybody else on the team. No one is a celebrity.
"Everyone is friends with each other and they all hang out together. It's crazy how well they have things going out there. (Plus), the weather over there is (perfect) every day. Who wouldn't want to go to college out there?"
Perez is the 2nd commit from a top safety as the Trojans earlier received a verbal from #2 safety Taylor Mays of Washington.
