Recruit to watch: LB Thomas Williams
"Thomas has been a 3-year starter for us after playing at safety as a sophomore and moving to OLB last season," said head coach Fred Jones. "He is a hard worker, a real "yes sir, no sir" attitude, he's just great that way. What makes him special as a football player is his ability to hit. With his quickness (4.6 40) he gets to the ball well and he can also rush the passer. Last season he had 8 sacks to go along with 85 tackles. He also scored 4 TD's running the ball on offense and this season will be our featured back. He's also got great hands out of the backfield. Thomas had nothing but good things to say about the Trojan camp experience and right now his top schools would be USC, UCLA, Cal, Oregon and Washington."
