"I had a great time on my visit," Green said. "SC has been a school I've been interested in for a long time. I've hung out there a lot and I have friends on the team.
"USC is a local school, so I know a lot about it and the culture. I got a good feel for what it's like to be a member of the team. I also had good talks with the coaches there about the depth chart. Even though they have two great quarterbacks in Mark Sanchez and John Booty, they really don't have a lot of depth, and I think the opportunity to play in the future is much better than most people think.
"I know that I will have to compete for playing time wherever I go, so that's not really a big issue. The fact that USC is close to home and that I have friends on the team made it one of the schools I'll highly consider until I make my decision."
Even though Green said he liked everything he saw and heard during his visit, the recruiting process is far from over for him.
"I didn't commit during my trip because I'm not ready to," Green said. "USC is definitely one of the top schools I'm considering, but I'm still looking at UCLA, Nebraska and Texas A&M, and I will visit one of those schools -- I'm not positive which one at this point."
Green said he will more than likely decide on a school Feb. 1.
