"My good friend Vidal and I have been talking alot about me going to USC," said Williams. "He's been saying I should go to USC, and said if he were me, that's where he'd go -- and I am seriously considering doing that.
"I'd still call me an LSU commit, but it's going to be real difficult deciding between USC and LSU. USC isn't recruitng any backs with my size. I'm 6-1 and 225 pounds, and I'd be the only running back who could replace LenDale White."
So it appears from recent Scout.com articles that Hazeltons' father Dexter is recruiting his son to Penn State, and Vidal Hazelton is recruiting Williams to USC. This could be one of the more interesting stories this recruiting season.
With rumors flying around about Hazelton wavering on his commitment to USC because of his friendship with Penn State Commit Pat Devlin, the obvious question to ask his good friend Williams is, will Hazelton remain committed to the Trojans?
"Do I think Vidal will end up at USC?" Williams said. "Yes, I do think he'll go to USC."
The only thing we know for certain with Williams and Hazelton is, there will be countless fans logged onto Scout.com on Feb. 1 to find out which schools receive their letters-of-intent.
