California Juniors to Watch

The 2006 class has just been signed but it's never too early to start looking ahead to the Class of 2007. The Trojans got a verbal yesterday from LB Chris Galippo of Servite HS to get the class started and here is a list of some of the other top prospects in the state for next year.

QB

No surprise with the name on top of the list here as Clausen has been well documented as a top priority for this class. Jimmy is expected to choose between USC and Notre Dame. He's not the only good QB in the area though as this is a nice year in state for QB prospects. Fouch's grandfather, John, played RB for the Trojans.

Jimmy Clausen, Oaks Christian
Aaron Corp, Orange Lutheran
Ronnie Fouch, Redlands East Valley
Samson Szakacsy, Camarillo
Chris Forcier, St Augustine

RB

Tyler has already received an offer from the Trojans and, even with the UCLA ties of his father Wendell, the Trojans have a solid shot at this talented back. Carter was impressive in helping lead Crenshaw to the City title last year.

Brandon Johnson, Dominguez
Aaron Harris, Baldwin Park
Charles Neal, Esperanza
J.J. DiLuigi, Canyon Country Canyon

Deon Edwards, Palmdale
Nate Chandler, Mira Mesa

Daniel Torres, Diamond Bar
Alex Alejo, Gridley
