Recruit Profile: QB Peter Lalich

Peter Lalich, a 6-foot-5, 225-pound, quarterback, from Springfield (Va.) West Springfield, was arguably the top quarterback in attendance last month at the U.S. Army National Combine. Lalich has the size, arm-strength and athletic ability to be a very successful D-1 quarterback.

"Right now I have offers from Virginia, Pittsburgh and Ohio." Peter Lalich said.

"My favorites are Virginia, Notre Dame, UCLA, Oklahoma, USC and Alabama. I've been to Virginia for a junior day and I've been invited to a few more but most of them are on the same day so it's been difficult for me to get to all the schools."

"I'm in no hurry to get things done. I'm going to come up with a top five at the beginning of the summer and I'll be going to a one-day camp at those schools. I actually grew up a fan of Florida and Florida State. My father played basketball at Florida"

Lalich will be a three-year varsity starter in 2006. As a sophomore, he started out as a wide receiver and moved to quarterback for the last three games of the season. As a junior, Lalich threw for 2,700 yards and 25 touchdowns.
