Recruit to watch: RB/LB Chris Henry

Henry (6-0, 205) from Stockton Edison is an athlete who is being recruited on both sides of the ball as a running back and linebacker although he definitely prefers to play on offense.

"I'm a running back," says Henry. "Last year I played fullback so my stats weren't that great but in the off-season I ran track and my muscles just developed fast and my speed really improved. My best time in the 100m was a 10.7 with Accutrack and I was hand-timed many times at 10.4. For the 40 yard dash my best is a 4.32 and I just ran a 4.41 at the Nevada camp this past week."

Henry will play tailback this year and share time in the backfield with fellow Trojan recruit Lynell Hamilton.

"We're gonna be running the ball a lot this year with the two of us back there," Henry said. "Lynell is more of a shifty runner with a lot more agility while I'm more of a power runner, I can punish a defender. Don't get me wrong, though, Lynell can lower the boom as well."

Henry is looking to major is criminal justice, his father is a correctional officer, and he lists USC, Oregon, Oregon State, Colorado and Nevada as his leaders.
