"There's a bunch of guys actually," Galippo said. "Last week I called Donovan (Warren), Marshall Jones, and I just spoke to Everson (Griffen) yesterday. I also talked to Aaron (Corp) before he committed. Those are the guys so far. I think they (USC) really want me to focus on talking to the defensive guys and I try to talk it up as much as I can. I can call as much as I want, too."
Griffen said he hasn't met Galippo, but they've talked on the phone a couple of times.
"Yeah, that's my boy, Chris," Griffen said. "This was our second time talking, but I'm going to call him more because he's a real cool guy. We talk about which schools I'm looking at, that USC is going to have a better defense with the new guys coming in and stuff like that. This was the first time we had a long conversation."
Notre Dame paid a visit to Servite last week and continues to keep in regular contact with Galippo, but he said he's fully committed to the Trojans.
"Charlie Weis came by the school and Coach Polian stopped by once this month," Galippo said. "I talked to Coach Dorell last weekend. Everyone else who offered me has given up. Any school that came up to me and asked for permission to recruit me, I've given the green light. I'm 100% Trojan for life and I'm 100% solid, but if something was to happen, which can realistically happen at any university, I'll have an insurance policy. It's definitely nothing to worry about."
Galippo said he'll attend USC's Rising Senior Camp June 26-27.
