Tommy Trojan Game Day Tips

ESPN GameDay – They're bacccck! Be part of College football's most meaningful pre-game telecast. Yep, Chris, Kirk and Lee wiil be doing their ESPN thing from the peristyle outside the Coliseum. Set those alarm clocks for rooster time as the live telecast begins at 7:00 a.m.

The USC Campus – Gather on campus hours before kickoff and help direct Art Bartner's Trojan Marching Band as they play your Trojan spirit favorites. Prepare for plenty of red with the Nebraska Cornhuskers, so wear your cardinal. This game is a long-ago sellout, but if you're looking for tickets, the middle of the Trojan campus is certainly one place to start.

Trojan Bookstore – Don't have the latest Trojan cardinal spirit shirt for the Cornhuskers? Head directly to the second floor and you can find all you need to attire the family in cardinal and gold. May we suggest those new "Game Day" shirts that have a left breast Trojan logo and the Trojans' home schedule on the back. For a cool $20, it will last you the season and won't the Irish love seeing cardinal in late November.

Tailgate – Let's see, just what do those Cornhusker fans think of Trojan tailgating? Well, for one thing, there is nothing like the Trojan FanFest on the Christmas tree lane of the Coliseum peristyle end. There is a little something for everybody and that includes games, prizes, and plenty of kid interactives to get everybody In the mood. Heck, you might even get to take your picture with a life-size cutout of Pete Carroll.

Trojan Walk – Want to get as good a look as you can get of the 2006 Trojans? Well, approximately two hours before the game, the Trojan team will arrive on Figueroa Blvd. and walk through alumni and fan tailgaters to the sounds of Fight On and Conquest. Get there early if you want to get a close-up look of quarterback John David Booty, receiver Dwayne Jarrett, and intimidating linebacker Rey Maualuga.
