Class of 2008 - California offense watch list

Signing Day for the Class of 2007 has come and gone and the Class of 2008 is now on the clock. Another talented crop of college prospects comes from the Golden State with running backs and offensive lineman some of the deepest positions

QUARTERBACKS
Crist is one of the top quarterback prospects in the West and will spearhead one of the elite teams this fall. Banks led the state in passing as a junior and figures to top those numbers his final season. McCallister's future may be on defense but he'll continue to be the top quarterback in NorCal. Blackman had a strong season in his first year at Carson and an even stronger U.S. Army Combine and Ragland is another stalwart from the City Section. Crissman came on strong for Edison and is the next in line out of Orange County. MacGillivray led De La Salle's squad to another CIF title. Grossart and Spalliero are more NorCal standouts. Davis is Central California's top prospect, and a rare breed from Edison: a top target who doesn't play in the secondary. Prince and Griffin join Crist in an excellent area for quarterbacks. Scott and Fuller lead the Inland Empire. Trisby is San Diego's top prospect.

Williams is the best from NorCal while Knox is the City's finest. Bass is the best in the Inland Empire and Fletcher and Coleman will contend for tops in Orange County.
