There are plenty of issues as to why an offensive line doesn't perform well in this offense. You need communication, comprehension of the blocking schemes and just the sheer ability to work as a single unit. This offensive line may never be perfect in the eyes of their position coach, but there are some aspects that this team is improving on by the week.   Full Story

You've got all starters who weren't starters last year. Then add in a true newcomer in Kevin Dixon, who in his first year at Nebraska has had to fill in for Ty Steinkuhler, who is still trying to come back from an injury. That's a lot of development which needs to take place and take place quickly. It's never as quick as you like, but defensive line coach Buddy Wyatt likes what he's seen thus far.   Full Story

Anticipation on Howard Jones - Brian Kennedy Field was raised a notch today for the USC football practice. With the Trojan Marching Band practicing on Cromwell Field, the feeling of game day creeps slowly in. After a "slower" day of practice on Monday, energy levels moved up just a notch today.   Full Story
