Hershel Dennis is a sixth-year senior running back for the USC Trojans. Dennis has played since his freshman year in 2002. In 2003 he was the Trojans starting tailback and rushed for 661 yards and four touchdowns. Dennis has missed the last two seasons with injury but has returned as a reserve tailback in 2007. So far this season Dennis has carried the ball 13 times for 60 yards.
